Tenerife offers a huge variety of fantastic trails for exploration. We have selected only the best ones for our Hiking Week for a real sense of the amazingly diverse nature the island has to offer. Hike through lush forests, tropical valleys and dramatic lava fields. Explore stunning mountain landscapes, visit quaint little villages and enjoy some amazing Canarian cuisine along the way.
You will benefit from the excellent local knowledge of our experienced and friendly hiking guides, who will take you off the beaten path and create an unforgettable week full of great memories. Your guides will share information about the beautiful and versatile nature of Tenerife, the history of the island and the people who have inhabited it over the years.
Each hike is a pleasant day trip and starts with a hotel pickup around 09.00 in the morning. The trails take about 3-4 hours to complete at a moderate pace. Post-hike, we’ll enjoy a picnic or local restaurant lunch before returning back to the hotel at around 16.00 in the afternoon. This leaves plenty of time to enjoy Tenerife’s beaches, relax and have dinner at your hotel.
The Hiking Week is perfect for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness who enjoys walking and wants to immerse themselves in the beautiful nature of Tenerife.
Hiking Week activities are suitable for participants from 14 years onwards. The difficulty level is easy-moderate.
Your holiday consists of the following activity days. The order of the activities might be subject to change due to weather conditions.
Enjoy the fresh air in the ancient laurel forest along winding trails to the hillside village of Chinamada and see the traditional cave houses. Lunch and drinks included.
Explore Teno Mountain ridge, see the spectacular views over the Masca gorge. Visit a local farmhouse and historical town.
Ride the Cable Car to Mount Teide and enjoy fantastic panoramic views. Then, explore the moonlike landscapes on the Roques de Garcia trail in Teide National Park. Picnic lunch included.
This hike will take you along the remote gorges and coasts of Anaga. The original inhabitants “Guanches” used to live here. Experience un-accessible beaches and a variety of beautiful mountains views.
An exciting hike with signs of lava flow that really gives you the idea that you’re on an Volcanic Island. We will pass the horizontal wells of galerias and finish in a “guachinche”, a local vineyard.
